The Best Double Buggy Strollers

A double buggy is ideal for twins who are due, or if you have two children of different ages. The best ones are easy to maneuver and deal with rough surfaces and kerbs.
These cars also come with features like large sun canopies and see-through hoods, as well adjustable seats.
1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through the majority of doors with its narrow design. It's also one of the lightest double buggies that are available, weighing only 14lb when folded. This makes it ideal for flying with a baby and toddler as you won't be exceeding airline luggage allowances. It can also be folded up into an incredibly small travel bag making it easy to store in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze and is extremely compact once you get the hang of it. It can take a couple of seconds to unfold. However our tester found the auto lock a bit confusing and as the handlebar isn't locked into position when you press it, it landed on her legs when she was using it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging from it.
The double stroller isn't as light as other buggies. It's got a broad range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has several recline positions and a UV 50+ canopy. double pram and pushchair can also add an additional bassinet to either or both seats to make it an all-in-one travel system.
The four rubber composite wheels are perfect for pavements and urban terrain, but they're not built for off-roading. They slid on gravel and long grass and there's not much clearance between the wheel and the bracket which means that mud could get stuck easily. That being said, our tester still loved riding this buggy, and it did climb some beautiful muddy hills.

They can be repositioned to face either the parent or the world.
It's a heavier tandem buggy, but it's extremely easy to use and steer, particularly on smooth pavements. It's stable in single and double mode and even on sloping terrain. It is not as easy to use on public transport since it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also a bit bulky and can't be stuffed into a standard car boot with the seat in place, however this can be overcome with cautious planning. iCandy has included the footmuff and changing bag with the cost, so it's a great value package for new parents.

Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning on a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to meet your individual preferences - perfect for napping.
The hoods were also easy to adjust for wind or sun protection. They didn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth carrying an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's ability to let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all kinds of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife to rushing to the park to play with their friends, they loved it. The testers were also awed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability of using a car seat on this buggy were both noted as a disadvantage by our testers. They would have preferred a larger storage area for shopping and other gear.
